Goodbye Barcelona, Hello Milan

After a few days of being lazy and trying to recover from our dreadful sunburns we left Barcelona and headed to Milan, Italy. Goodbye Barcelona, you have my heart and I will return in the future to retrieve it.

Discovered the Pier

We thought we would head down to the beach and lay out and instead we discovered the gorgeous pier and these amazing little alleys with the cutest shops, restaurants, and houses. I love Barcelona so much!

Last day at the beach

Since a few of the people are leaving and some of the group will be separating as well traveling Europe we decided to do a group beach day. Lets just say we all got fried, but it was an amazing day.

New home in Barcelona

Since the study abroad is over with we all had to pack up and head to our new home for a few days which ended up being really nice and in a great location of the city.

Goodbye study abroad

Tonight was our last night as a study abroad group. We had a dinner down in one of the apartments and got our final grades. Afterwards we headed to dessert since it was Kassie's birthday.

Party Tour Bus

This is a night not to be forgotten. We all decided to do a party tour of 4 clubs and ending at the best club of Barcelona. We ended up staying until the club closed, which was around 6:00-6:30 am. Which by then the sun was rising so everyone walked out on the beach and we watched the sunrise. Luckily the metro was open by then so we took the metro home. What an amazing and adventurous night.

We got hungry in the middle of the tour so we grabbed pizza.

We headed to the beach today which was so relaxing. After that was when we had the all night tour of the 4 clubs.

Club scene

Tonight we decided to hit up the night scene since we have been hearing it's unbelievable. Lets just say by the time we went out it was around 12:30 am. Well the clubs were dead, until 2:00 am, then they were packed and it ended up being a blast. So glad we went out.

Sagrada Familia

After we had settled into our new apartments and finished our exams, the next day we headed to La Sagrada Familia. It was gorgeous and the outside doesn't do it justice. The inside is breathtaking. Alexis put it nicely, if avatar's had a church this would be it. It was related back to nature in so many ways. The columns branch off like trees at the ceiling and the ceiling had openings all over to let natural light inside. If you ever get a chance stop by there. It still isn't completed and wont be finished for another 2 decades.
