I have always wanted to do a zip-line but something that many people don't know about me is I'm terrified of heights. I get a thrill once I am up and about doing something but I get really stressed before the event. My husband has never seen me in this situation before and he was shocked. I was breathing heavy and talking a lot to people in line. We had dated for almost 7 1/2 years and been married for a year and a half and we are still learning things about each other.
Anyways I thought the day was pretty good and a fun way to celebrate turning 30. We went to the zip-line first to avoid the huge crowds, glad we did, when we went around to the 2nd line the wait time was huge to start the zip-line, then we grabbed some lunch, headed over to the atvs. We ended the day with swimming the caves and I am so glad there were 2 options, when we got in the water it was freezing. So we took the 5 minute swimming option rather then the 30 minute option. Anyways... here are the photos from our day.
When you first enter the park you walk through these caves and get a locker key. It was gorgeous.
Zip-line into the water and caves.
Waterfalls were everywhere.
The view from one of the zip-line towers. You can see the ocean as well.
Swimming through the caves.
Wow, stunning place, seems you had a great time!

I'm planing a cancun trip myself, if you have any good recommendations , I will take the, :)
ReplyDeleteI loved Tulum, we did it as a tour and next time I would go on our own so we could enjoy the beach, but I am also glad we did the tour first. Don't buy anything if they stop at the Mayan visiting center, its cheaper at the town Tulum. The Explor was so much fun, but I have also done it once and wouldn't do it again. Swimming with the dolphins was my favorite thing by far.
DeleteI've heard really good things about the Xplor place in Cancun! I went to Playa Del Carmen just outside Cancun last fall and had an awesome trip! The weather is sooo nice and warm!! Sounds like you guys had a great time too! :)
