1 year anniversary

My husband and I thought it would be nice to celebrate our anniversary with a little getaway but not to far that we had to worry about the cats and get a sitter. With fabulous park city right around the corner we thought that would be a perfect destination so we packed a small bag, booked a hotel and headed out. My husband set up the dinner reservations and to my surprise took me to my favorite restaurant Ruth's Chris steakhouse. I love this place. We had an amazing dinner and honestly felt stuffed to the max we had to get our desserts to go. Park City was the perfect spot and we had a fabulous night. When we finally got back to our house I had a little anniversary cake waiting for us. Since we didn't end up having a wedding cake I thought it important to make sure we had an anniversary cake. (My fabulous pastry chef sister got really sick before the wedding and didn't want to risk handling food while under the weather). It honestly was such a good cake, if you ever need a cake go to cakes de fleur, it wasn't box cake material, it was a homemade taste with the perfect amount of buttercream icing. Not piled on to the point your scooping all of it off. Both my husband and I were in love. For our first anniversary I think it was a success and I can't believe it's already been a year.

365 Days of Love

I can't believe it's my one year anniversary today. Time flies and I love him more each day. We have been through a lot together and have always stuck by each others sides, even at times it was hard too. I love him so much and look forward to growing old with him. He knows how to calm me down when I'm upset or hurt and knows how to make me laugh when I just want to cry. I sometimes take things too serious and he knows how to lighten me up. I love you so much Todd and can't wait til we're that couple across from dinner last night celebrating our 53rd anniversary babe.

Have I mentioned that its almost my anniversary of 1 YEAR!!  Well its almost here and I can't believe its already been a year! I love this man.
